Proud owner of a 1979 – First Edition – Piper Cherokee Dakota, Dr. John Picone brings more than three decades of both flying and teaching experience to the BFC Classroom. Along with a Night Rating and a Float Endorsement, Professor John is also an Instrument Rated Pilot. A retired teacher, John has not only a wealth of classroom experience from Junior School to University, but also Masters and Doctoral Degrees from the University of Toronto in Education. His two passions – flying and teaching – come together with a lot of excitement in the Ground School Classroom.
